Excel Dashboards and Reporting
Building structured dashboards that turn raw data into clear, actionable information. KPI trackers, sales reports and automated templates that make business performance easy to read and understand.
What this work is about
A well-built Excel dashboard can replace hours of weekly reporting with a single file that updates automatically and shows exactly what needs attention. This work focuses on building those files: structured, clean and easy for anyone to use, not just the person who built them.
The goal is always the same. Take data that is currently scattered across different places or stuck in a format nobody can interpret quickly and turn it into something that gives a clear answer in seconds.
Types of dashboards and reports
- KPI tracking dashboards with automated calculations and visual indicators
- Sales performance reports broken down by period, product and channel
- Budget tracking templates that compare planned versus actual spending
- Progress trackers for projects, goals and milestones
- Data cleaning and restructuring for messy raw exports
- Automated formulas that reduce manual input to near zero
How these are designed
Every dashboard is built with the end user in mind. That means avoiding overly complex formulas that break when someone changes a cell, keeping the layout intuitive and making sure the most important numbers are visible without having to scroll or dig.
Clean structure, consistent formatting and clear labels are non-negotiable. A dashboard that confuses the person using it has failed its purpose, no matter how technically impressive it is underneath.
